Supporters of Palestine gathered in central Istanbul before dawn for the “Big Gaza March,” a large-scale demonstration organized by the National Will Platform and the Turkish Youth Foundation (TÜGVA). Thousands assembled after morning prayers at historic mosques including Hagia Sophia, Sultanahmet, Fatih, Süleymaniye, and Yeni Mosque, carrying Turkish and Palestinian flags. Around 400 civil society groups are expected to participate, uniting under the slogan pledging continued support for Palestine and opposition to silence over Gaza, before marching across the iconic Galata Bridge.
