In this powerful and gripping film, we follow Najeeb Muhammed, an Indian immigrant who seeks work in Saudi Arabia to improve his financial situation. Little does he know that his dream job will lead him into a nightmarish existence as a goat herder in the unforgiving desert. The Kafala system, which ties migrant workers to their sponsors (kafils), becomes his prison, and every breath becomes a battle for survival. As Najeeb faces unimaginable hardships, he hatches a daring plan to escape his desert ordeal.
The film sheds light on the real-life struggles faced by many migrant workers in Saudi Arabia, sparking discussions and outrage about the Kafala system. Saudi citizens have expressed their anger and empathy, sharing videos on social media to emphasize that they stand against such injustices.
