Welcome to Day 3 of our Valencia adventure! Today was all about nature, history, and hidden gems just outside the city.
Albufera Natural Park, known for its vast freshwater lagoon, rice fields, and birdlife. A boat ride across the calm waters gave us a glimpse of the natural beauty that makes this area so special.
El Palmar, a charming fishing village nestled within the park. We wandered through the quiet streets, learned about the local fishing traditions, and of course—tried some authentic paella where it all began.
Xàtiva Castle. Perched high on a ridge, this massive twin-fortress offers panoramic views, fascinating history, and plenty of spots to explore. We climbed, wandered, and took in one of the most epic sunset views of the entire trip.
