Life and work (and a new puppy) have gotten in the way of maximum fun this summer, but we finally got to get out and visit Prophetstown State Park. This is our favorite Indiana State Park (so far) and also the newest campground at a state park to our knowledge.
The water park was a great getaway from the heat, and it was only $5! You can't hardly get a coffee these days for $5, so we for sure felt like it was worth the visit over there.
The farm is a great visit back to the 1920's, and the paved bike trails all over the park are always a great way to spend time together with the family.
Minnie (the mini golden doodle) is kind of high maintenance, but she's growing on us day by day, and adds a new family dynamic to our trips FOR SURE.
