वक्फ कानून के बाद अब UCC को लेकर बवाल तेज हो गया. ऑल इंडिया मुस्लिम जमात के राष्ट्रीय अध्यक्ष मौलाना शहाबुद्दीन रजवी बरेलवी ने भारतीय जनता पार्टी की ओर से एक्स पर जारी वीडियो पर प्रतिक्रिया देते हुए कहा कि समान नागरिक संहिता यानी यूसीसी मुसलमानों को मंजूर नहीं है. मौलाना ने कहा कि अगर यूसीसी कानून बने और उसमें शरीयत के वसूलों का लिहाज रखा जाए तो बेहतर होगा।

After the Waqf law, the uproar over UCC has intensified. Maulana Shahabuddin Razvi Barelvi, the national president of All India Muslim Jamaat, reacting to the video released by the Bharatiya Janata Party on Christmas, said that Muslims do not accept the Uniform Civil Code i.e. UCC. Maulana said that it would be better if UCC law is made and Shariat requirements are kept in mind in it.
