Technician Yevhen diagnoses and repairs a Samsung dishwasher DW80K5050US that wasn't opening the detergent door during wash cycles. The repair was completed in Little Italy, Winnipeg, and the issue turned out to be a broken wire in the dishwasher door harness, causing a PC error code.

The detergent dispenser wouldn’t open, and only the upper impeller was working, as if the half-wash function was stuck. Through detailed diagnostics, service mode testing, and electrical inspection, we discovered a broken pink wire in the section of the door that bends frequently during operation. After restoring the wire, rewrapping the harness, and reinforcing the protective insulation, the dishwasher passed all tests and returned to normal operation.
