Welcoming you aboard. As we take a beautiful scenic journey on the Class 201. Being hauled by the Mark 4 Locomotive From Cork, To Thurles. Reaching speeds up to 160 kmh. And cruising at 140 - 160 kmh. The speed limits are in Miles per hour. Yes Ireland has gone metric. But the railroad still uses MPH in real life. If you don't know MPH. Here's a quick round up.
40 MPH = 70 KMH
60 MPH = 100 KMH
75 MPH = 120 KMH
100 MPH = 160 KMH
These are all rounded up so they are not exact, but it gives you a good idea for the speedometer in game.

A: I had that issue before. I downloaded the Dublin to Rosslare asset pack and route and ran it once and it fixed the cork one too.
Q: What game is this?
A: Train Simulator Classic.
Q: Is this game free?
A: The route is, but not the game. Costs 29 euro.
Q: My route doesn't work!
A: Make sure you copied over all the like 40+ folders of assets in the assets folder in the other file
Q: Do I need DLC for this?
A: Recommended, Yes. But here I don't use it and that's why there are some missing stuff so you technically don't need it.
Q: Can you make a guide how to do it?
A: Download the route and assets. Extract the assets and go into the assets folder and where there's load of them copy/move them into your RailWorks assets folder in the game file then use Utilites in RailWorks to download the .RWP file in the route file. Enjoy!

I do not have ALL the DLC but I got the EU loco and asset pack Aswell as the US one. If there's any crashes and you don't own all the DLC. Sorry but it's likely you need to buy it. I know it's not cheap but I don't make the prices.

HEADS UP! This wonderful route by Brendan Moran that covers over 500 KM of track from Dublin to cork limerick and Tralee is FREE. just you might need some paid DLC that he used paid assets but those are not needed. Just recommended. You will need to pay for the Train Sim Classic 2024 but I recommend catching it on sale if you can. If you don't have money. Join Giveaways or mow some lawns or do some chores or if your old enough. Get a job.
