The drive to the top is an adventure in itself, featuring a steep, narrow, and winding one-lane road with two-way traffic. Caution is advised as you navigate the hairpin curves and steep grades.
Once at the summit, you'll find two observation decks accessible via 115 steps, offering 360-degree views that stretch across Georgia, North Carolina, and Tennessee.
Graffiti-Covered Rocks: The summit is notable for its rocks adorned with colorful graffiti, adding an unexpected artistic element to the natural landscape. While some visitors appreciate this unique feature, others feel it detracts from the mountain's natural beauty. Amy and I did not like the graffiti on the landscape.
