Mix Tips: From Dull To Brilliant Piano Sound

The My Miami series by @newworldsymphony creates some really unique field recording challenges. In this video, I share the experience of trying to cleanly record an upright piano on the streets of Miami and then how I processed those recordings for a heavily sound-designed and dense mix. This is not your traditional recording environment or classical piano context, so it was fun do some experimenting getting the sound to fit.
