I’ve been publishing a series about Nariño (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nariño_...) and its main tourist destinations. I want to show you this department in which international tourism is minimal today, but which is beautiful and has many things to do.
Nariño is one of the 32 departments of Colombia and is located in the southwest of the country. Nariño is the only department that shares the Pacific Ocean (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pacific..., the Amazon jungle (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Amazon_...) and part of the Andes Mountains (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Andes) in its territory. In Nariño you find beach, mountains, canyons, volcanoes, lagoons and more.
Rio Ñambi (https://siturnarino.com/atractivos-tu...) is a natural reserve in the middle of the tropical jungle of the coastal foothills of the department of Nariño in Colombia. The Rio Ñambi Nature Reserve is characterized by its great biodiversity.
Rio Ñambi Nariño is the habitat of more than 350 species of birds such as the Andean Cock-of-the-Rock (https://ebird.org/species/andcot1), you will also find a diversity of species of flora and amphibians, insects and the spectacled bear (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Spectac.... There is also a cabin with basic amenities for tourists who want to visit this natural reserve in Nariño. It is the ideal place for bird watching in Colombia.
