⁴ᴷ⁶⁰ NYC Subway Train in the Street - R32s Heading for Scrap

Here we see twelve R32s being taken off of MTA property and transferred by NYNJ Rail from the MTA's 38th Street Yard to NYNJ Rail's 65th Street Yard. NYNJ rail operates street-running trackage over 1st Avenue in South Brooklyn. Once they arrive at 65th Street Yard, they'll be transloaded to flatcars and brought out of the city to Ohio for scrapping.

The train operated over the two active street-running railways in NYC, both of which are in Sunset Park and connect to each other:

The MTA-Owned South Brooklyn Railway, which runs east-west roughly along 39th Street:
