Arthroscopic Bankart (Anterior Labral) Repair of the Shoulder

This is the left shoulder of a rugby player who has sustained multiple traumatic, anterior glenohumeral (shoulder) dislocations. He now suffers from recurrent shoulder instability. This video illustrates repair of the anteroinferior and anterior labrum, also known as a Bankart repair, to treat anterior shoulder instability. The surgery is performed arthroscopically by Dr. Andrew Dold, MD.
