Okay, so I knew a storm was possibly coming but I did NOT expect this. As the storm approached there was a few distant rumbles of thunder but it was really quiet, then as soon as it got over my location it got very active with the cloud-to-ground lightning. It really surprised me! The very first loud thunder hit right at the moment the delivery guy was bringing me stuff that I had ordered on a previous day. Then after that it was pretty much super close lightning strikes for a while. My camera had an issue with seeing the strikes, I assume because they were so close and fast.
