I was going to make a video about the inductance of coaxial cables. It happens that the analytical formula for inductance calculation uses the inner radius of the outer conductor. The reason is that high frequency current flows near the inner surface of the outer conductor in a coaxial cable. so I decided to explain why this happens. To explain it I needed to use the phenomena of proximity effect, so I also discussed a bit about what proximity effect is and how it impacts current distribution in conductors.
