Dangerous Tree Removal Near Power Lines Felling with Chainsaws & Valmet 705 Tractor

In this video, I tackle the risky job of removing a large tree leaning heavily toward roadside power lines — a serious hazard that needed careful handling. Using felling tongues, a telescoping pole, and an RH pusher, I directed the fall safely and precisely.

I began the cut with my Stihl MS261, but after running into a minor issue, I switched to the reliable Echo 4920 chainsaw to finish the job. Once the tree was down, my father-in-law stepped in with our Valmet 705 tractor equipped with a skidding grapple to haul logs and branches off the roadside.

This job was all about teamwork, safety, and using the right tools for a high-risk situation.
