On June 15 last year, what appeared like yet another faceoff between the armies of India and China along their disputed border, turned into a full blown confrontation. Galwan valley in Ladakh, where the clash took place, became an international hotspot overnight. India declared the death of twenty of its soldiers and China admitted to losing four personnel.
