The Ghansoli–Airoli Palm Beach Road Extension has officially begun after receiving High Court clearance. This ₹540 crore project will create a 3.05 km elevated bridge parallel to Thane-Belapur Road, solving a major chokepoint for Navi Mumbai commuters.
Designed to decongest major corridors and improve connectivity towards Airoli-Mulund Bridge, Thane, Kalyan and Vashi, this project is one of the most important infrastructure upgrades for Navi Mumbai.
