2021 Jeep Wrangler 2 Door | Subwoofer, Amp + Speakers | Audio Upgrade

In this video John tackles another Jeep Wrangler audio upgrade, this time in a 2021 Wrangler 2 door where space is extremely limited. How do you upgrade the sound in a 2-door Wrangler including a subwoofer without taking up any serious cargo space? To upgrade the sound in any Wrangler with the factory head unit we start with the PAC AP4-CH41R2 to get a clean, flat, pre-amp level signal. For speakers this client opted for the amazing Sony Mobile ES 6.5" components up front and 6x9 coaxials in the sound bar. The 6x9's in the rear made a huge difference in the mid bass response. These were powered by a JL Audio XD400/4 pushing 75 watts RMS x 4 along with a Kicker HS10 180 watt 10-inch subwoofer in the rear tray.

To make this install super clean and factory like in appearance, John used a few Stinger Wrangler specific amp install parts such as an amplifier mounting bracket and 8 gauge amp wiring kit. In the end the sound of this system is completely aftermarket - rich, dynamic, detailed, punchy, full and weighty - while appearances (other than the remote bass knob by the center console) are completely stock.
