يُعد من أبرز الداعمين للتعليم وقد أطلق عام 1998 “جائزة عبيد بن كنيش الهاملي للتميز والتفوق الأكاديمي” في منطقة الظفرة وهي الأولى من نوعها وساهمت في تشجيع الطلبة والمعلمين على الإبداع والتميز وعززت من مستوى التعليم في المنطقة.

Obaid Kenish Alhameli is a businessman and philanthropist, who has made significant contributions to community development and charitable work.
He is considered to be one of the leading supporters of education. In 1998 he launched the ‘Obaid Kenish Al Hamli Award for Excellence and Academic Achievement’ in Al Dhafra region, the first of its kind. The award has contributed to encouraging students, and teachers to pursue creativity and excellence and has helped raise educational standards across the region.
