Willys Jeep Brake Bleeding PROCESS

Process how to bleed the brakes on.a 1947 CJ2A Willys Jeep. Bleeding brakes properly requires a few steps that need to followed in order outlined in the video. Important to start from the brake furthest away from the master cylinder then work in order to the closet.

ENSURE THE MASTER CYLINDER IN ALWAYS FULL

BLEED BRAKES UNTIL NO BUBBLES ARE PRESENT IN THE FLUID

REPEAT THE STEPS OUTLINED IN THE VIDEO FOR ALL BRAKES

2022 Kaiser Willys Calendar Winners (March)


During the harsh winter months in Canada we decided to take the Willys apart, fix a few parts, and get it back on the road. Then repeat this the next winter. During the winter of 2021 we rebuilt the brakes and basic engine upgrades (spark plugs, water pump, distributor, ignition coil, etc.). THIS winter of 2022 we are tackling to replace the transmission and transfercase but finding lots of other problems deep within the engine.
