Fanatec themselves have a number of options available to connect third party rims, but only one for third party full wheels - the Fanatec Podium Hub. This is a great product but many of the bells and whistles aren't necessary if you have a wheel with its own button plate. This is where the SRM Fanatec Wheel Emulator comes in from Sim Racing Machines. It has some connectivity available and is a good solution for a rim but is equally at home for your Ascher racing, Simline or Cube Controls wheel. It is vastly cheaper in certain scenarios which we'll go through so let's find out if there is a catch.
