The Yamaha Blaster has an AC powered ignition and 55watt lighting system. In this video I will show how to separate the system so the quad continues to run on AC while the lighting system is converted to DC with a high output lighting coil (75watt), small battery and a regulator to power your DC lighting and auxiliary charging needs. Note that the OEM light is AC. If you're floating the stator you are creating a DC circuit which won't power your OEM AC headlight without popping bulbs.
