Journey with me through the heart of Far-Western Nepal as I travel from Silgadhi to Mangalsen and Sanfebagar, exploring the untouched beauty, history, and culture of this lesser-known region. This episode takes you across the dramatic landscapes of the Budhiganga Valley, where terraced hills drop into a turquoise river, and remote villages still hold on to their traditional way of life.
One of the most striking places on this route is the historic Accham Durbar in Mangalsen, an old palace complex that carries the stories of the region’s past. Standing on a ridge overlooking the vast valley, the durbar offers some of the most breathtaking views in all of Far-West Nepal. From there, the journey continues down to Sanfebagar, where the Budhiganga River winds peacefully between mountains and farmlands, creating one of the most scenic river valleys in Nepal.
