Week 33 ~ Dogma Embroidery Challenge 2025

Hi everyone,

I’m taking part in a lovely mixed media embroidery challenge being hosted by Lisbeth Degn, a Danish mixed media artist. The challenge is called ‘Stitched Circle Show Challenge 2025’ ( but I’m going with Dogma Embroidery Challenge for simplicity).

The Dogma rules set for the week 33 assignment were as follows:

1. Use a piece of watercolour paper or fabric, colour with a wash of blue
colour and trace a single circle onto it.

2. Stitch: Netting stitch

3. Thread colour: A blue darker in colour than the watercolour paper or
fabric.

Netting stitch was a new stitch to me so it was fun to give it a try this week. I prefer stitching on fabric at the moment so that was my choice of media for this week.
