Part 3 Armor case is finally painted. It was a lot of work, but worth it in the long run. I used Duplicolor automotive paint found at most automotive parts stores. Had some problems in the beginning, but in the end successful. Here's what I did to achieve the final outcome.
1. sandblast chassis,panels,mobo tray and all accessories
2. self etching prime (2 coats)
3. ground coat - for the anodized red(2 coats)
4. color (2 coats)
5. wet sand (what I could) w/1000 & 1500 grit
6. more color (1-2 coats)
7. light wet sand 1500 grit
8. clear coat (2-3 coats)
Not all these steps are required, but I'm a anal perfectionist!
