North Thailand has a lot to explore from the vibrant capital Chiang Mai with roughly 300 wats (Buddhist temples) and gracious Thai dances, trekking through the abundant nature, hill tribes, elephant rides, the golden triangle, Doi Inthanon NP, Doi Suthep, Mae Sot near the Burmese border, rafting to the most beautiful waterfalls in SE Asia by Umphang, Pai, less visited places like Kamphaeng Phet Historical Park and Lampang and so on.
A great destination for the adventurous and explorers.
I have visited North Thailand several times to almost every nook and corner. I have made a selection of the highlights out of the many photos I have to show you the beauty of this amazing part of Thailand. I hope you will enjoy it.
