It’s fun to go watch these tractors and threshing machines operating as they did decades ago. I would have to imagine that being on the wagon for hours and hours for weeks on end probably wasn’t nearly as enjoyable way back in the day. It was hard work in hot weather but our grand parents got the job done and kept millions of people across the country fed.

These tractors were retired decades before I was born and I’m eternally grateful to the people that have kept them running and operational. I love the thumpty thump thump of the gas tractors and I love the soot rolling out of the steam tractors.

I have a couple more videos coming on this threshing show. I spent all summer recording different events and I’m just now finding the time to edit everything down. My SD cards and computer are so loaded down with footage that it’s running slow and taking more time to edit.

Ultimately I hope to have quite a few historical type videos on this channel so that when I’m an old decrepit man in a nursing home I can sit back and think of the memories and good times I had with my family. Until then you all are welcome to watch and enjoy them as well.
