The 1981 Pontiac lineup started with the T10000, followed by the Phoenix, Firebird, LeMans, Catalina, Bonneville, and the Grand Prix. The Bonneville this year came in a four door sedan, four door Safari station wagon, coupe, Brougham four door sedan, and this Brougham coupe. The Pontiac Bonneville is an automobile built by Pontiac from 1957 until 2005. Bonnevilles were full-sized, with the exception of a brief period of mid-size between 1982 and 1986. The brand was introduced as a limited production performance convertible during the 1957 model year. The Bonneville (known as the Parisienne in Canada until 1981), and its platform partner, the Grand Ville, are some of the largest Pontiacs ever built; in station wagon body styles they reached just over 230 inches long, and at 5,000 pounds and more were also some of the heaviest cars produced at the time. The sixth generation of Pontiac Bonneville was introduced for the 1977 model year. The sixth generation Bonneville saw the model return to Pontiac flagship status. The sixth generation Bonneville was available as a coupe or sedan, and was fitted with a range of V6 and V8 engines. The sixth generation Bonneville was in production until 1981 and was replaced by the Seventh Generation Pontiac Bonneville. This Brougham coupe is 1 of 14,317 copies and had a base price of $ 8,580. The V6 engine had 231 cubes with 110 horses, and the V8 engines started with a 265 with 120 hp., a 301 with 150 hp., a 307 with 145 hp., or a 350 with 105 hp. There were twenty seven paint choices this year, if you can believe that, and this gorgeous example is finished in Spectra Red. This Bonneville Brougham is just a classy coupe for its last year brand. Thanks for viewing.
