What an unforgettable kayak fishing session in the Eastern Mangroves, Abu Dhabi 🇦🇪

This vlog was filmed during the Eid Al Etihad (UAE National Day) weekend, and the action was nonstop. I managed to land a solid mangrove jack, plenty of orange spotted trevally, some fast-paced queenfish, multiple seabreams and even a grouper — all fish were carefully caught and released to help protect and sustain this incredible fishery.

Kayak fishing the Abu Dhabi mangroves allows access to shallow, untouched water where these species feed aggressively. Sessions like this highlight why catch and release kayak fishing is so important for the future of fishing in the UAE.
