Doha Film Institute is an independent, not-for-profit cultural organisation that champions powerful storytelling and meaningful creative exchange. Since our founding in 2010, we have played a central role in shaping a vibrant film culture in Qatar and the wider region.

We support filmmakers at every stage of their journey—offering funding, training, and mentorship that helps bring bold, original voices to life. Through year-round programmes, we connect diverse talent with the tools, knowledge and networks they need to thrive in the global film industry.

Our commitment extends beyond filmmaking. We foster a culture of curiosity and appreciation for cinema—building a community rooted in creativity, collaboration and shared experience.

Aligned with Qatar National Vision 2030, the Institute contributes to the country’s cultural and creative economy, positioning Doha as a global hub for storytelling and cinematic innovation.

مؤسسة الدوحة للأفلام مؤسسة ثقافية مستقلة وغير ربحية، تدعم السرد القصصي المؤثّر والتبادل الثقافي المُثمر. منذ تأسيس المؤسسة في عام 2010، لعبنا دوراً محورياً في تشكيل ملامح ثقافة سينمائية حيوية ومزدهرة في قطر والمنطقة.

ندعم صنّاع الأفلام في مختلف مراحل مشوارهم الإبداعي، إذ نقدّم التمويل والتدريب والإرشاد الذي يُسهم في إبراز الرؤى السينمائية الأصلية والمتفرّدة. ومن خلال البرامج التي نقدّمها على مدار العام، فإننا نزوّد المواهب المتنوّعة بالأدوات والمعرفة وفرص التعارف التي من شأنها أن تساعدها على الازدهار والتألق على نطاقٍ دولي في مجال صناعة السينما.

ولا ينحصر التزامنا في صناعة الأفلام، بل يمتد ليشمل تعزيز ثقافة قائمة على الاهتمام والتقدير لفن السينما وبناء مجتمع يتسّم بالإبداع والتعاون والتجارب المشتركة التي تثري وجدان أعضائه.
