Quick Temporary Fix for a Leaking A/C Refrigerant Line. Mine was the 5/8" Suction Line to the Rear A/C on a 2005 Chrysler Town & Country, but the Same Would Apply for Many other Vehicles.
Caution when dealing with pressurized A/C lines. The refrigerant should be removed by a licensed professional before cutting into the lines.
Depending on how much oil leaked out, or the extent of the repair you may need to add some PAG oil back in with the new R134a charge.
I didn't note in this video that another good option is to cut the 5/8" A/C line right at the pinhole leak and then splice the line back together with the compression fitting (i.e. not splicing in a short replacement section. The only concern is that the line is somewhat pitted at this point, but the rubber seal should overcome that. My biggest issue is that there is no room to make this fix unless you remove the lines, or remove the exhaust pipe.
