Through a stroke of random luck I got my hands on a rare C Melody Saxophone (in between an alto sax and a tenor sax). In this video I take you down the rabbit hole of saxophone history to see how this thing ended up getting made in the first place!

The history of the saxophone is EXTREMELY complex and this is meant to be a suuuuuper reductive version of it. So I apologize (to any music historians watching this) if I've oversimplified some bits of the history.
