Happy Valentine's Day! Katy Wright's Pro Bono Art for the City of Fountain Valley (so far)

Someone on Facebook asked about Art On A Box in Fountain Valley.
It is run by the City of Fountain Valley in conjunction with the Fountain Valley Community Foundation.

This video includes references to the only (as of 2/24/2025) Fountain Valley Art On A Box installation.

Also included is the work I was honored to do for the Wyland Foundation, with the fabulous contribution of wooden baby whale statuettes donated by Huntington Beach artist Dave C. Reynolds.

Also included was the "step and repeat" selfie wall, which was used for Summerfest 2024 and featured in the Orange County Register.
Also mentioned, but not shown on camera, were 2 full-size art canvas "gift cards" for the police and fire department dispatchers in April 2024.

I referred to the non-profit 501c3 that I started called Art On A Box. I began it due to frustrations with the City of Fountain Valley not doing anything to promote the program. I would ultimately end the charity, getting no interested volunteers nor artists to join in on the project.
