Now for the important bit! The last time I spoke to Tim a couple of years ago, he had decided to concentrate on car tuning and had sold his motorbike dyno. I'm not sure if he's doing any bike work at all now and certainly his website is very much centered around car tuning.

I went for a long video because firstly I hate it when dyno videos are too short and you don't get to hear the bike enough times before you either have to restart the clip or find another one!
Secondly if I even get to the point where I can monetize the channel and add an advert or two, they won't get in the way of the action because I left so much of it in 😁

Tim has a great reputation for building and tuning race car and bike engines over the years and was the man who was instrumental in helping Performance Bikes magazine build a Big Bang style engine for a GSX-R750 back in 2006/7

If you've seen some of the stock dyno charts for this bike you'll see that the standard setup really did no favours to the midrange!! The gear and Tims' expertise got the best out of the bike over the course of about an hour.
