Leilani Simon is the mother of 20-month-old Quinton Simon, who went missing and was later found deceased in October 2022. Quinton was reported missing from their home in Savannah, Georgia, and after an extensive investigation, his remains were discovered in a landfill. Leilani was subsequently arrested and charged with his murder. Acquaintances, family members, authorities and Quinton's babysitter testified during Leilani's 9-day trial. She was found guilty in October 2024 and sentenced to life in prison with the possibility of parole after 40 years.
