"jazz piano 5" are compositions from different jazz styles in an arrangement for the advanced pianist. They are taken from the last volume of DIRK BLEESE's "jazz piano 1-5", published by Universal Edition Vienna. Each arrangement consists of an introduction, a theme section and a notated improvisation. "jazz piano 1-5" are based on ten compositions arranged in five volumes according to the musical and piano technical requirements. They offer performance pieces for all ages and levels of difficulty from 1st student concerts to competition or exam entries, as well as ideas and instructions for improvisation, teaching and demonstration material for challenging jazz piano lessons. "jazz piano 1, 2 & 3" start from the very first piano playing and contain small performance pieces, finger and rhythm exercises and improvisation instructions.
