Always With Me (Spirited Away): Played by an 11-Year-Old in a Nostalgic Hotel Lobby

I had the chance to play the piano at the lobby of the "Flugel Kuju" hotel in Oita, Japan. Guests are allowed to freely play the piano here, but hotel stuffs told me that it was quite old and hadn't been tuned for many years. Indeed, some of the keys were peeling off and there were some notes where it was hard to produce sound, yet the piano had a very beautiful and calming tone. I played my own arrangement of "Always With Me" (by Yumi Kimura), the theme song from "Spirited Away," on this piano. I think its nostalgic atmosphere and charming sound matched the song perfectly.

演奏者 : ぷに 11歳
大分県にあるホテル”フリューゲル久住”に宿泊した際、ロビーのピアノを弾いてみました。
このホテルでは宿泊者が自由にピアノを演奏する事ができるのですが、かなり古いピアノで調律が何年も入っていないとの事でした。実際に鍵盤がすぐに剥がれる所や、音が出にくいところも何ヶ所かありましたが、とても綺麗で落ち着く音色でした。
今回はこのピアノでぷにが耳コピでアレンジした『千と千尋の神隠し』主題歌の "いつも何度でも"（木村弓）を弾いてみました。この曲にぴったりの懐かしい雰囲気と可愛らしい音色だったのではないかと思います。
