Want to see the authentic and traditional Mizoram? I welcome you to "Bara Bazaar" also known as "Burra Bazaar" in Aizawl. It is an extremely popular market of Aizawl, the capital city of Mizoram and the main shopping centre of Aizawl. You can say that Bara bazaar functions as the lifeline of Aizawl. It is also the oldest and probably the chaeapest market in Mizoram. There are products from neighboring countries including Myanmar and Bangladesh. You can find traditional clothes, western clothes, handicrafts, vegetables, fruits, local items and almost everything at this market. Post the fun shopping in this local market, I headed to the famous Solomon's temple in Aizawl.

Solomon's Temple - The Solomon's Temple in Mizoram, India, is also known as the "Solomon's Temple Aizawl" or "Zoram Kohhran Hruaitute Committee Solomon's Temple." It's a significant landmark and a religious site located in Aizawl, the capital city of Mizoram. This temple is not to be confused with the historical Solomon's Temple in Jerusalem.
