700 years before Adol Christin's adventures in Esteria, the world did not know the bane of the existence of demonkind. That all changed as the land was mysteriously overrun by the dark creatures for unknown reasons. Ys, the paradise on Earth that was maintained by the silver known as Cleria, began to rise into the sky. As it rose, a group of knights from Solomon Shrine dedicated to protecting the Twin Goddesses Reah and Feena heads back to the surface in order to find out their whereabouts inside the demonic Tower that reaches for the heavens. Inside, new enemies are to be met, bonds are to be strengthened, and the true nature of the silver Cleria, the actions of the Goddesses, and the mythology behind the land of Ys are revealed.

I started recording this around the same time as I started Ys V this past winter break, but chose the latter for priority and left the beginning of this as it was for awhile. I decided starting uploads with it would be a motivator to make time to continue recording, so here's Ys Origin.

Like previous games I'll be going through the high story points and boss fights on Nightmare, and considering this game's three stories and my schedule it's going to be a long one (though the game's linearity makes it easier to push through than one would think). Also unlike last time I uploaded this (as a quality test oh so long ago) this is with the Steam release instead of the fan patch, and the technology on my end is a bit better as well, so things should be a bit smoother overall.
