Easy Florals from Intuitive Mark Making and Line Drawing over Watercolor to find your own art style

Let’s take out our pastel paints from the Kuretake Art Nouveau set and paint directly on to a sheet of watercolor paper to create a floral fantasy!

Why do you think we are afraid to experience the free-flowing character of watercolor? Practice learning to trust the paint to know what to do if we can be brave enough to let it go its own way. Use plenty of water (painting on a block of paper like my Etchr block is a big help) and remember not to fiddle once you’ve put the paint down on paper. Go for some unusual color combos, like this pink, turquoise and burnt orange mixture which is so vintage in style. You never know, you might end up framing it!
