American Kids at a German Christmas Market - Life in Germany

As the parents of four amazing kids, there is a special joy for us in the Christmas market. Not only do we get to enjoy the shopping, the food and drinks, and the amazing atmosphere, but we also get to enjoy the magic of the Christmas market through the eyes of our children. Christmastime is always special with kids, and going out into the city together to enjoy the festivities has been wonderful.

About us: Just over one year ago, after a long time of hoping, dreaming, and planning, we sold or gave away almost everything we owned and left the United States to begin our journey with four children as an expat family. We moved to Leipzig, Germany, a beautiful city in the state of Saxony. This is our story.
