Financial Benefits:

The University of Brunei Darussalam Scholarship 2025-26 in Brunei for National and International Students is a fully funded scholarship that will cover all expenses for postgraduate degree programs at UBD. The details are as follows:

• Waived tuition fees, including registration and acceptance fees at the University of Brunei Darussalam.
• A subsistence allowance of BND 2200.00 per month for 36 months.
• On-campus accommodation for 36 months.
• One round-trip economy class air ticket will be provided from the student’s home country upon accepting the scholarship and to their home country after the completion of their studies.
• Field research allowances (BND 1000.00 for Arts and Humanities candidates, and BND 2000.00 for Science candidates).

Scholarship Duration:

The scholarship duration at the University of Brunei is divided into 3 categories:

• Master’s by Coursework: The study period will be twelve (12) months full-time or eighteen (18) months, depending on the program.
• Master’s by Research: The study period will be twenty-four (24) months full-time.
• Doctor of Philosophy: The minimum study period will be thirty-six (36) months full-time or sixty (60) months part-time, depending on the program.

• Applicants must hold a First Class Bachelor’s degree to apply for the Master’s program.
• A Master’s degree certificate is required to apply for the Doctoral program.

• Fit to pursue studies in the chosen field.
• Must meet English language requirements.
