Our newly designed dual-purpose sink float tank is a smart solution for plastic recycling. Made with strong stainless steel and a modular design, this tank is built to separate both floating and sinking plastics using one system.
How it works:
• For Floating Plastics (like HDPE):
When processing HDPE, the material floats on water while dirt and heavy particles sink. A built-in paddle system keeps everything moving, helping separate the plastic effectively. The clean HDPE is collected at one end and sent to the next washing step.
• For Sinking Plastics (like PET flakes):
When switching to PET, the tank uses the other end. PET flakes sink to the bottom and are moved out by a screw or chain conveyor for further cleaning.
This dual-end design means you only need one tank for two types of plastic. It saves space, lowers costs, and fits easily into any recycling line.
