Full Ingredients:
Pasta
Water
1 tsp salt
400 grams of lengue
1 tbsp butter
Black pepper
Koufta
I’m not a blander add first onion garlic ground beef and pepper parsley then spices
400 grams of ground beef
1/2 onion minced
2 cloves of garlic
1/3 of red , orange, and green pepper
Pinch of parsley
1 tsp salt
1/4 tsp paprika
1:4 tsp coriander powder
1/4 tsp Italian spices
1:4 tsp cumin
1/4 tsp meat spices
1 tbsp olive oil
Koufta sauce
2 tbsp olive oil
1 tbsp butter
1 onion chopped
2 cups tomato sauce
1/2 tsp black pepper
1/2 tsp salt
1 tsp sugar
1:4 tsp turmeric
1/4 tsp Kayan pepper
1/4 tsp powdered onion
1/4 tsp coriander
1/4 tsp paprika
1/4 tsp powdered garlic
1:2 cup of water
1 cup chopped pepper

Pasta Instructions:
1. Cook the Pasta:
• In a large pot, bring 4 liters of water to a boil. Add 1 teaspoon of salt.
• Once boiling, add the 400 grams of pasta (lengue) and cook according to package instructions until al dente.
• Drain the pasta and set aside.
2. Prepare the Butter and Pepper Sauce:
• In a skillet, melt 1 tablespoon of butter over medium heat.
• Add freshly cracked black pepper and toast it gently for 30 seconds to release its aroma.
• Toss the cooked pasta in the butter and pepper mixture until evenly coated.
• Set aside and keep warm.
Koufta Instructions:
1. Prepare the Koufta Mixture:
• In a large bowl, combine 400 grams of ground beef, 1/2 minced onion, 2 minced garlic cloves, and the minced thirds of red, orange, and green peppers.
• Add the pinch of parsley, 1 teaspoon salt, 1/4 teaspoon paprika, 1/4 teaspoon coriander powder, 1/4 teaspoon Italian spices, 1/4 teaspoon cumin, and 1/4 teaspoon meat spices.
• Mix the ingredients thoroughly with your hands until evenly combined.
2. Shape the Koufta:
• Divide the mixture into equal portions and shape into small cylindrical or oval patties.
3. Cook the Koufta:
• Heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
• Add the koufta patties and cook for 5–7 minutes on each side, or until browned and cooked through.
• Remove from the skillet and set aside.
Koufta Sauce Instructions:
1. Sauté the Vegetables:
• In the same skillet, heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil and 1 tablespoon of butter over medium heat.
• Add 1 chopped onion and sauté until softened and translucent, about 3–4 minutes.
2. Cook the Sauce:
• Add 2 cups of tomato sauce, 1/2 teaspoon black pepper, 1/2 teaspoon salt, 1 teaspoon sugar, 1/4 teaspoon turmeric, 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper, 1/4 teaspoon powdered onion, 1/4 teaspoon coriander, 1/4 teaspoon paprika, and 1/4 teaspoon powdered garlic.
• Stir well to combine.
3. Simmer:
• Add 1/2 cup of water and 1 cup of chopped peppers (mixed colors). Stir to mix.
• Let the sauce simmer on low heat for 10–15 minutes, allowing the flavors to meld and the peppers to soften.
4. Combine Koufta and Sauce:
• Add the cooked koufta patties to the sauce, coating them well.
• Simmer for another 5–10 minutes to allow the koufta to absorb the flavors of the sauce.
5. Garnish:
• Sprinkle with fresh parsley before serving.
Assembly:
Serve the pasta as a base, topped with the koufta and sauce. Enjoy your flavorful dish!
