Whitney Line, BSN, RN, PHN, spoke on behalf of doctoral students at the University of Minnesota School of Nursing commencement ceremony on May 16, 2025. Line encouraged them to step into the power that they hold. “We are not just nurses. We are systems-shapers, boundary-spanners, and with that comes responsibility,” said Line. “This degree is more than a credential. It’s a declaration. That we – nurses – lead.”
