MARCIA HINES Your Love Still Brings Me To My Knees Extended Edit

This is the second extended mix of this wonderful version of Marcia Hines' 1981 hit that I have taken to and re-edited two clips of the singer and the song. 'Your Love Still Brings Me To My Knees' was released 40 years ago and it was Marcia Hines last Top 10 hit - reaching #10 in the second half of the year and spending 18 weeks on the chart. It is still one of my favourites of Marcia's recordings and of all the versions of the song (Leo Sayer, Dusty Springfield), I think hers is the finest! Nick, at Nandlmusic has done another sterling job with this re-edit - and surpassing another of my favourite youtubers: Ruud Mixer, by creating a whopping ten minute version of 'Your Love Still Brings Me To My Knees' (Stand Up & Shout Edit). My video edit was a challenge, and far from perfect, but as ever I had fun tackling it, and am proud to upload it upon the 40th anniversary of this great track. Marcia arrived in Australia in 1970, and became a much loved adopted 'daughter' to our music scene - being crowned Queen Of Pop three times that decade and achieving multiple hit singles and albums. Marcia has continued to record, perform and be a presence in pop culture and is still in fine voice. Thanks Nick and Ruud for embracing this Antipodean recording and giving it the extended treatment.
