Does Weight Matter? Centre Of Gravity Explained

Mountain bike weight has always mattered, but is that a legacy that remains from before things got electrified? With an e-bike, weight doesn't tend to matter so much. A bike that is good at climbing can now be heavy, with its extra pounds sunk into the very aspects of it that make it a better climber, such as a powerful motor. But, how about the distribution of that weight? We've met with Whyte Bikes' Head Designer and Accomplished Racer Sam Shucksmith for a physics lesson on how a bike's centre of gravity is quickly becoming the most important factor in ride quality.
