A Special Giving Tuesday Message
Today, on Giving Tuesday, let us pause as a community of faithful and reflect on the countless blessings God has poured into our church and our lives. While the world around us focuses on giving material gifts which surely have their place, as faithful stewards of Christ, however, we are reminded that the greatest gift of all is His unwavering love and abundant mercy manifested in the fact that we are alive and able to gather and worship and share fellowship.
Holy Resurrection Church strongly invites everyone to elevate their hearts and minds and make this day a special day of gratitude to God. Take a moment to thank Him for your family, your health, your community, your church, and the opportunity to serve Him in and through our ministries. What a privilege to be able to know Christ and to be known by Him!
As we approach the Nativity of our Lord, let Giving Tuesday be a day not only of gratitude but also of renewed dedication to living as Christ’s hands and feet in a world which has so much pain and hurt. Let your love for God and neighbor shine brightly, as we give thanks to the One who is the source of every good and perfect gift.
