With deep sorrow, we announce the passing of Ms. Rachitha Poornima Cabral, aged 42, who departed this earthly life on 20th November 2024, leaving behind a legacy of love, dedication, and service.

Rachitha was the beloved daughter of the late Rev. Dr. Hannibal Cabral and late Shailini Cabral. Born into a family deeply rooted in faith and service, Rachitha was the proud and devoted mother of Larisa.

A gifted educator, Rachitha served as a lecturer at St. Aloysius PU College, where her passion for teaching and unwavering commitment to her students left an indelible mark. She was admired not only for her academic contributions but also for her ability to nurture and guide young minds with compassion and understanding.

Rachitha was a devoted member of the CSI Shanthi Cathedral, Balmatta, Mangalore, where her faith and community spirit were evident in all she did. She upheld the legacy of her father, the late Rev. Dr. Hannibal Cabral, who was a revered pastor known for his love of music and his profound impact on the community. Inspired by his values, Rachitha carried forward his love for music and faith, enriching the lives of all who knew her.

Her warmth, kindness, and unwavering support touched the hearts of her family, friends, students, and colleagues. Those who knew her will remember her as a compassionate soul who valued relationships and extended her care to everyone around her.

The mortal remains of Rachitha Poornima Cabral will be brought to her residence, Devaprasada, Kadri Mission Compound, at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, 22nd November 2024. The Funeral Cortège will leave the residence at 4:00 p.m., and the Funeral Service will take place at C.S.I Gorigudda Cemetery at 4:30 p.m.
