Ex-PCO chief, other vloggers attended China-funded seminar | ABS-CBN News

Former Presidential Communications Office Secretary Trixie Cruz-Angeles admitted on Friday, March 21, that some Filipino social media influencers attended a China state-sponsored seminar from May 23 to June 5, 2023.

Cruz-Angeles said the seminar was “sponsored,” with the Chinese government covering travel, accommodation, and seminar costs but downplayed its influence on her political views, saying she was already well-versed in China’s history.
